hello just wanted to introduce myself and say hello 
i actually found this forum trying to find info on how to work on my wife's '03 x-type. overall it's been a reliable car but now the normal wear and tear parts are starting to need replacing...and to describe working on this car as frustrating is an understatement lol. seems like most parts are dealer or online only...local autozone doesn't stock much for it. though i'm pretty sure there are ford parts that would work for it. i'd really like to mod this car, but just doing the hid's is a major PITA. but i've found lots of good info on here so i plan to visit more often
