New on forum
Just joined so short introduction, bit late I'm afraid. Have done this as a thread if not correct way apologies & please advise.
My name is Roger living in Staffordshire, we have a 2.2 X Type Diesel SE. Chilli Red with Champagne leather. having previously owned a 2.1 Petrol Sport. Still miss the sound of the V6.
I run a Database with over 120 Jaguar Specialists on it, covering Eng/Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland & Republic. I have no commercial links of any kind with any of them. I use it on another Forum when others ask for their nearest Jag. Specialist. It has helped some, may do same for Members on this Forum. If asked all I need is your Town & County then I can reply with list for you. Have a similar Database for Jag parts suppliers. Hope this meets with approval of Moderators.
Roger.

Welcome to the forum Roger.
Obviously we don't object to members trying to help other members.
As per your UK forum, no commercial links, please. We would have to remove them, and maybe you as well.
Here we have paying Vendors and as such try to promote them when we can.
You will also find that we are an international forum.
Hope you can find your way around.
Just remember that the 'Driver's side' is invariably the 'Passenger side'.
And yes, we like pictures.

Welcome to this friendly forum.
My family comes from Leek, having fled France after the Massacre de la Saint-Barthélemy.
After nearly 500 years it seemed safe to venture back !
Putting your car details in your signature helps the Great and Knowledgeable to advise you better.

Welcome to the forum Roger,
Good to have you with us.
Pity you don't have a database for Phoenix!
If you haven't already done so you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Thank you all for the warmth of your welcome much appreciated. Like to answer a few of questions asked, as follows.
Fedoraja1, We have had our X Type for 2 years now, Pics are something that I may be able to do in future. Your XK8 in BRG with Cashmere sounds absolutely fabulous.
Mikey, Well it had to happen, somebody calling me Maureen serves me right for picking my username Maureensxtype. My name is Roger car is mainly driven by my Wife Maureen. Hence username. No offence taken, well you’ve got to laugh haven’t you?
Steveinfrance, Have put car details in my signature, thanks for reminder. You are in France returning approximately 500 years after your family left, following the Massacre de la Saint-Barthélemy.
Was that wise? You know what long memories the French have. Only kidding It was a long time ago & we're all friends now.
Joycesjag, Appreciate your kind welcome, Your right I do know a couple of other Members from another Forum, it’s a small world, looking forward to interest & fun on this most excellent of Forum’s.
Norri, Thanks for the welcome. You write “Pity you don't have a database for Phoenix!” I have been considering doing one for the US. & Why not? Watch this space, I may be some time. But the longest journey starts with the first step so I’ll start walking.
Translator (Richard) Your welcome & good advice much appreciated.
