Hi everyone,
Thank you for inclusion and for being such an excellent on line resource. Not sure I will be able to offer much in the way of tech help, but you never know!
Currently on third Jaguar - XJ 2.7TDV6 Sport Premium MY07, very pleased with it and its mpg compared to previous model - XJ8 4Ltr owned for 10 years, prior to that an XK8 coupe from 1999 to 2001 - lovely car and was the reason I moved over to the XJ8, same engine and gear box, but with useable rear seats, needed at the the time and unfortunately since. We do have a fun car - SLK 230 and also a small run around, but the XJ is preferred transport for long runs.
I look forward to getting to know you and to hopefully being of some help in the future. For now, best wishes.

Welcome to the forum Steves,

Good to have you with us.
That's a substantial jag history, I'm sure you'll fit right in.
We don't have too many diesel owners though.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Hi Norri
Thanks for the welcome. Should have guessed that forum would be mainly for "Petrolheads", which I promise I still am at heart, just watching the pennies more the older I get! Re. Car details added to signature, not yet sure how to do that, or populate "my Garage", will investigate further.

Welcome Steves,

Not exactly a newbie with Jaguar. You should have plenty to input. Just don't tell me how many more mpg you get with the XJ 2.7TD.

As Norri says, the majority here have petrol models but, as you'll know, there's always loads to keep you occupied outside the bonnet area with a Jaguar.

Graham

For the sig go to the top left of the page and click on User CP in the black bar.
That'll take you to the control panel and you'll see an edit signature option on the left.

Gentlemen, many thanks again for your collective welcome and also for the membership upgrade Jim. A tad busy today, but will take Norri's explanation of how to include car models in signature on board and action them soon.
Will also take some photos - when the British summer finally arrives and up load ( will probably need to check "how to" first). Speak soon.
