New to the forum
Just joined the forum to participate in the teaching and learning about our Jaguars.
Just bought our 4th Jag in 31 years. The first was a nice 1971 XJ6 (SWB) with a blown engine. Thought it would be a fun project to do the common Chevy 305 conversion. Completed in 6 months and was it a great car!! Put about 300,000 miles on the car until it started rusting badly after moving from SF bay area to Virginia Beach, VA. Hated to sell it. Also had an 85' XJ6 for about 4 years. Bought it with 159,000 miles and drove it another 100,000 miles. We bought a 95' XJ6 in 2005 and still have it. Latest acquistion is a really nice California 1997 XK8 with just over 50,000 miles. Currently driving it back home to Virginia. Also have a Triumph TR8 and am the original owner of a 1966 Sunbeam Tiger. Just love those British cars with V8 engines. Hoping to make it home the last 500 miles before upgrading to new timing chain tensioners.

Welcome to the forum eagleman,
Good to have you with us.
Fingers crossed for the tensioners.
Post up some pics when you can, don't forget the Tiger, I haven't seen one of those in years.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum eagleman,
Quite a fleet you've have there. Enjoy the remainder of the trip home. It sounds a great opportunity to post a pic of your latest Jaguar.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
