Hello all, my name is Mike and this is my first post here. I'm usually more of a lurker and searcher than a poster.

I've got a 2002 XJR that I bought back in 2008. Been a great car; only a few hiccups until this point: stuck thermostat, cracked coolant line, failed front shock, front brake pads, and on my 3rd set of tires. Oh, and the headliner is falling and I think the sunroof quit working (been too scared to open it in case it won't close again), lol.

Anyway, it might be blasphemy to some, but I DD my XJR. Makes for a nice drive to work and back, and can fit the kids in back when I need to.

I've got a 1991 300ZX twinturbo with a whole pile of mods, and a 1999 E36 M3 5-speed convertible also. I do all my own work, but it's getting harder and harder to find the time as I have three kids under 5.

I have an issue I'm troubleshooting that just started today on the Jag where it will crank and start fine, then sputter and die. Will start again just fine, sputter, and die. I'm making another post about it with more detail in the appropriate forum. Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Welcome to the forum Mike,

Nothing better than reformed and .

You've had the XKR since 2008 - that's some serious lurking time.

Definitely no need for me to give you a link to the X308 section. Post the tech question there and the resident experts will be able to advise.

Hope it's a straightforward fix. Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Thanks, hoping it's a failed primary fuel pump.

I see you're in the UK; I lived in Oxfordshire for 11 years growing up. Left in 1995, still miss England and my friends there.
