Smile New to the Forum

Morning all,

Have finally taken the plunge and joined - have been looking around at a guest for a while and have always found the site very helpful. I'm now going to be starting some maintenance/repair work on the XK8 I acquired last year, so think I'll be in need of lots of advice!

Plan for the next month is to finish chopping out and replacing the remainder of the rusty body sections (before it can spread..!) , put new rear brakes on, do a fluids/filters/plugs service and pull out the dents in the roof that some inconsiderate Oxford drunk decided to put in whilst dancing on my car roof on the way back from the pub one evening.

So - thanks in advance everyone, am sure I'll benefit a lot from joining!

Welcome to the forum Tim,

You're going to be kept busy for a while. If you haven't already found your own way there, follow Norri's link to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information.

The roof sounds as if it will be the trickiest part. Good luck.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Thanks for the welcome guys - will have a detailed look through the stickys on the XK8/XKR section as I'm sure a lot of the stuff I'll be doing has been covered before. Will try and get some pictures of everything to share with you all.
