New to the forum
Hey guys,
I am the proud owner of a 90 XJS Coupe. This is my second XJS so far. The first was an 88 that I bought when I first moved to Huntsville. The 88 had been ridden hard and put away wet! I spent the first year mostly reversing the repairs that the last owner attempted. I loved that car no matter how beat it was. Regular runs past the ton were weekly events. The interior was shot as well as the paint. One of the chrome windscreen surrounds blew off the car doing 128 mph! I replaced the stock starfishes with Lister 15" "Macho" rims and attempted to put decent tires on it several times. Also installed an aluminum radiator and GM alt when the plastic fan exploded plus some other minor mods as well. After the front oil seal went I retired the car to the back yard while I searched for my next XJS. Fast forward to about 4 months ago and I picked up my 90 that is in much better shape. I'm soooooo happy to be in an XJS again! I'll post later about my 90 as I have done some simple mods that hopefully a few of you might be interested in.
Later,
Rob

Welcome to the forum Rob,
Great Intro.
Follow this link XJS - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJS section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
You may also like to visit the US Western Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region. (I think I've got the right 'Huntsville' for you?)
Enjoy the XJS and the forum.
