I recently purcased my first Jaguar, and I figured I would try to find a forum to get some parts for it, as well as some general knowledge I am sure I'm lacking. I'm a general domestic person, mainly chevrolet and dodge. But, got a good deal on my 05 Jaguar S-type R, and I like the car so I jumped on it. Now of course the mod bug is kickin in, and I've been studying various ways to go about it, from upgrading the stock 4.2, to trying to find a way to shoehorn a 4.6 terminator engine into it. Decisions, decisions. Anyways, hello from New Mexico, and hope to talk to some of ya.

Welcome cummings. What's that about swaping the STR engine out? Bad idea pal, specially with the 05 engine since so many of the bugs have been worked out. Give some more details on your problem so we may better help you.
