Default New to Jaguar

Hello,
I'm new to the forum as I understand that this is were the real information on the Jaguar would be located, from those who own and love their cars.

I've never owned a Jaguar but remember how beautiful the XKE looked in the day, from a distance that is.

I presently own BMW and was thinking of moving to a 650i until I recently came across a 2007 XK with 15K miles on it. It drove nice cornered fine, road fine, no issues with it except I've not followed Jaguar and wasn't sure about a few things. I've typically purchased CPO vehicles but is that necessary...some feel that with BMW it it.

I also noticed that the XK comes with many features as standard so what options are recommended if in fact one can find them in a used vehicle?

I've read a little on the forum and seen where some recommend the XKR over the XK for power. In a test drive, 300hp seemed ok but I would be moving from 360hp (550i) down to 300, XKRs are also more expensive but value is different for everyone.

How have I never really noticed these fine automobiles? I don't know but they are beautiful. I'm also looking for a convertible...isn't that what half the fun is with these cars? It is for me.

Thinking of 2 sets of golf clubs, I guess the back seat will become my cargo space...hehe.

Any responses would be appreciated if you feel so inclined. Know that I'm looking and am deciding whether or not I stay BMW with the 650i or go with the XK. I'll be stylin...

Welcome aboard Fogger.

Head over to the XK section, I know that a few of the guys transport their clubs in style.

Good to see you.
