New to Jaguar (Jag-U-Are)
Hi all from Minnesota...
Just got my first Jaguar 12/20/2008. A 2004 XJ8, 40,000 miles and it is everything I had hoped for. Got 1000 miles on it the last few days and what a dream. This is my daily driver, I had it narrowed down to an 03' Mercedes E500 or the jag. I am confident the Cat will live up to the reputation. Many positive comments on it already. It actually is not to bad in the snow since I put new Continentals on it. Have driven a pickup for the last 10 years, before that Mercedes. Good to be back in a nice saloon again...

Welcome to the forum. I bought an 04 XJ8 last year and am loving it! I attended U of Minn my freshman year in college and am very familiar with your winters. I was also impressed with the performance of my Jag on winter roads here in Indiana. It handles pretty well for a rear wheeled drive car.
