Hello, I recently purchased an 03 S Type 3ltr. I'm in Northern Pa. & looking forward to learning much here as I do most of my own work. It has a parking brake issue- Not working, needs a fog light lense, some touch up paint & tlc. All tips & suggestions will always be appreciated as I have no dealer close. Thanks Bernie

Welcome to the forum Bernie,

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US North East Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/north-east-us-me-nh-vt-ma-ri-ct-nj-ny-pa-35/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum Bernie,

Good to have you with us.
The key has to be programmed at the dealer. (Or maybe a specialised locksmith)
Enjoy the forum.

If you haven't already done so you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Bernie,

Best to get a spare key sorted out a.s.a.p. as it takes some time to get a blank cut and programmed. You can just imagine the problems if you lose or damage your only key.
