Hello the the membership. I am very pleased to announce that I am the second owner of a beautiful 2001 XJR with 90,700 miles. I have wanted one of these for years after I sold my 1975 XJ6 Sovereign. Having read up on the 2001 model in Jaguar Forums, I was prepared to have the timing chain, tensioners and guides replaced with latest generation ones, and I am glad I did. All is good - everything works, and the car looks new. I have been driving Audis for years now; so service and paying for it is not a new concept to me.

The Jaguar is not my only English vehicle - I have a 2005 Triumph Thruxton in the garage as well. When the controls are off, I will post pictures. In the mean time, I am going to enjoy my XJR. I am sure that there is not a more beautiful saloon made!

A one previous owner 2001 XJR is a real find. You'll get plenty of info in the X308 section to keep it running properly.
