So, I was driving this 20 year old Saab convertible that I had purchased new all those years ago. Over the past few years my wife has been putting pressure on me to upgrade to "something with anti-lock brakes and air bags!" I resisted, but last summer gave in and came home one day in a Porsche Boxster (which, of course, meets her criteria). I have not looked back. . .

Meanwhile, she thought she was perfectly happy in her Honda Accord, but of course I knew better and so for Christmas I bought her a 2005 X-Type. What a steal. . . the car is in perfect condition with only 27k miles, a CPO 2-year warranty and an additional 2-year warranty for 25% of its original selling price.

And it has anti-lock brakes and airbags!

Thanks gang, I'm a bit of a lurker on these forums, but I do get a kick out of them and try to contribute when I can. As for pictures: I don't know, my wife pretty much won't let me drive it (although she did let me detail it). I'll see if I can sneak it away from her this weekend. I bet if I fill the tank she'll let me have it for an hour or so. . .
