Hello everybody. My name is Paul and I have a 1997 XK8 convertible which I bought in 2002 with 38K miles; now has 52K. Have had some problems (ABS failure, Trac failure, very slow hood action) all of which I've managed to fix. Currently have a nasty groaning noise which from inside sounds as if it is coming from the transmission. Only seems to happen at light throttle at just under 50 mph and immediately goes if you lift off. Happens in D and 4th. Changed the tranny oil and filter which didn't help at all. Any suggestions out there please folks?
Thanks, Paul

Welcome to the forum, Paul. Well done on the time you've already put in, and I'm sure the you'll find some good ideas from XK guys for your strange transmission fault.
Cheers!
