I should have read the new member intro.
anyhow, I'm new to the forum. I have a 2001 Jaguar S type. 4.0.
It was running fairly well until the last couple of years. I'm working on getting the timing chain tensioners replaced along with the guide rails. Got the timing chain cover off, waiting for a couple parts to come in.

also, I'm having a hard time getting the power steering pulley off. Is there a nut that secures it in place or is it pressed on?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
James

Hello James welcome to the forum. Good luck with your project. I wish I could help you out on the PS pulley, but I have never done the tensioners before so I don't know whats invovled.

If you post technical questions in the S Type Section, maybe someone there may help you out.

Enjoy all the site has to offer!

Welcome to the forum,

Yes, head over to the S section and ask about the pulley.
