Hello,
My name's Steve and I just bought a dark gray 87 XJS, it was originally shipped to California but was imported to Canada (Calgary AB) about 15 years ago, fortunately it's never seen winter roads so the body is in really good shape from a rust perspective, there a couple of minor dings though, it definately needs some mechanical tlc.
The owner didn't drive it anymore so it had been sitting for 2 years.
It has issues, (battery was toast, gas was rotten, fuel gauge and parking brake not working).
I've got it to run but it's not quite happy yet.
I'll post a pic when I get a chance.
I've already found a few things to try with the fuel gauge (solder joints), I just have to figure out how to get the assembly out without breaking anything else.
