Welcome to the forum,

No mention of any problems with your 2001 XKR which is good news.

You'll probably want to spend a bit of time on the XK8/XKR section. Scroll down from this New Member Area - Intro a MUST on the forum home page until you get to Jaguar Models and you'll find XK8/XKR (1996 to 2006) lower down.

Welcome to the forum.

Good to see you.

The site is pretty straight forward, with all the sub forums being accessed by scrolling down the main home page.

You will find 'how to's' in the Help section.

And by following the links in my signature.

Welcome to the forum. The XK8/XKR guys are a wonderful bunch (as are the rest of the people on this forum). If you haven't already, check out this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ts-data-29800/ It is full of great information.

I read the instructions but still having trouble getting around in this site. I try links and they take me to places I don't want. Or it is for a manual that is not specific to my car.
I tried adding the picture and it keeps saying failure.

You won't be able to post pictures until you've reached 10 posts and 3 days forum membership. You're past the 3 days membership and have 4 posts to date so only another 6 posts to go before you can post pics.

The link in the post from 'K.Westra' takes you to loads of info relevant to your 2001 XKR. What info are you after that you can't find from there?

I was interested in the technical manual for a 2001 xkr. I am having problems with the headrest and was going to try to manually put it in an upright position.

Thanks

I finally got my XKR out of the shop. Had the front end suspension replaced and some leaking oil seals. I worked on the leather seats yesterday. They look good. my wife was impressed.
