I'm a new owner of a 2001 XK8 - Black on black on black. This is the most recent of a line of interesting vehicles, including a BMW 2002, an awesome Bertone (Fiat) X1/9, a roofless Buick Century wagon, and a rather unfortunate Subaru Justy.
Welcome to the forum Toxxic,
Good to have you with us.
You'll find info on the XK here XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
Are you sure the BMW was interesting? :-)
You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you. When you get it.

Sorry to hear about the BMW but, if you don't mention it again, you'll probably be OK !!!

Wait. I offered up a friggin Justy, and you all took shots at the BMW? Harumph
In my defense, it was a 1972 2002tii, painted tennis-ball yellow at the factory. Under that awful paint was a suspension which some claim invented the modern sport-sedan category. I won't go that far -- people have been hurdling through corners at the edges of adhesion since the invention of the wheel.
I was young (and needed the money?); it was cheap and mostly easy to work on, and its bathtub-like aesthetic completely hid the fact that it was actually quite an agile and quick little driver, even 15 years after it's introduction. I don't regret it at all.
That doesn't mean I'd buy one today, though.
