Hello from Canada, Campbellford, Ontario to be precise!
Just picked up my second Jag, an XK8 1997. First one was a 1960 XK150S....still haven't figured out why I sold it.....
Just bringing the XK8 up to standards for licensing. Anxious to get it on the road.
Have a bunch of condensation (just short of forming white caps...) in Dr side h/lamp, minor condensation in Psgr side.
Been reading some previous forums and will attempt to dry out and vent.
Do I understand that there is a fairly inexpensive vent kit that can be installed to correct the problem? Any help with source in or out of Canada would be appreciated!
Back to polishing for now.

Congratulations on the XK8. You can join many others here who also wonder why we sold our earlier classic Jaguars!
Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum for help and advice. A good place to start is the HOW TO at the top of the threads in that section.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
There's several approaches to the condensation issue. If you can't find an answer, post a question in XK8 section and you'll get plenty!
Be sure to check out known weaknesses with the early XK8's to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
