Hello, my name is Justin and I live in Oak Harbor, WA. I just recently acquired a 1961 Mark 2 2.4L that is in decent shape. The biggest issue is that I do not have the transmission. I have an auto trans from a '59 Mark 1, but no driveshaft, flywheel, or torque converter.

I am currently in the process of stripping the car down so I can fix some minor rust and get a fresh coat of paint on.

Hopefully this will buy me enough time to figure out the transmission issue. I am debating whether to adapt a newer 5 spd, swap all the drive train with one from an XJ6, or do a Chevy V8 swap.

I look forward to all the helpful information from this forum. Please feel free to offer your opinions, I do not scare easily, and I can take the ridicule.

Justin
