Hello all. I am new to the board. i want to start by saying thank you for all the info that I have already used when buying my 2002 x-type. I have been visiting your board and I have found the members to be very helpful. I am really looking forward to learning and teaching all that I can about these cars and whatever else anyone might need to know. I live and work in North West Indiana, and I work at a casino, which makes for weird hours. But i know how to turn a wrench and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Enough about me, I just recently purchased a Black 2002 X-type with a 3.0 v6. It is a 5 speed and I really love driving it. 4wd is a big selling point for me as i live in one of the most extreme weather climates (Rain, Heat, Snow etc.) I recently (yesterday) rebuilt/refurbished the headlights with the things I learned on this board. thanks a lot to everyone!

Good to hear you've found useful information here. As you already know your way around, there's no need for me to give you a link to the X-Type section.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
