Hello everyone in Jag World,
Coming to you from The Hawkeye State (Iowa)

Just signed up yesterday (10-3-2012). Have never joined a forum before now. Looking forward to being a member. Was looking for some answers concerning my latest ride and came across this site. Since this is my third Jaguar I thought this might be a good source of information and exchange of ideas.

The weather is cloudy and misty here today and I just gave my cat a bath so she's at home under cover. Suppose to be sunny and dry tomorrow so I plan on taking her out for run.

My first cat was a 1991 XJ6 Sovereign - Grey - Red leather interior (sold)
Next - 1997 XJ6 - Misty Blue. traded for my present feline.
2004 XJ8 Vanden Plas - Zircon - Light Grey interior.

Keep them on all fours and between the ditchs,

"GO Hawks"

Welcome hojo...

...from the slightly chillier north. Sounds like with your car experience, you'll have a lot to contribute as well as gain from forum participation! All the best. We should have a lot of nice days yet for you to get the car out from under her covers...

Cheers!
Scott

Hi and welcome to the forum. You will see the kind of issues that arise with these aluminium-bodied cars, but essentially there are not all that many. Main thing is to keep the car correctly maintained and it will then run the marathon for you.
