Hello All,
My wife has a 2000 xj8 VandenPlas (SP) we bought about 6-8 months ago. She loves it but it requires me working on it. She commutes about 120 miles a day and the car has been having some issues. After some reading and blood I have been able to take care of most of it but I am at a loss with some thing which I will post in another thread.
My auto knowledge is midway but have the help of a friend who is a retired mechanic. We tinker with other stuff like my Chevy truck and Suzuki bike with no problems but when I call him about this car it cost me about my weekends and a case of beer (not all bad time)
