Hi, my name is Alex And I am from Aberdeen in the UK. I am 25 and have owned a few old BMWs (when I say old, I mean falling apart 20 year old cars hehe).

I currently own a jaguar x-type which I have had for nearly 2 years now and love as if it were my first car .

I joined this forum to use as a technical resource for my car and to find out all the cool things other x-type owners have done to their cars.

One project I am currently working on is a skinnable software dashboard using the onboard computer. I am mainly interested in the software side of things though as I am a professional software developer.

So I am looking forward to see what you guys are up to and perhaps getting some tips on working with my jag

Alex the n00b

Apologies for the long post....

Welcome to this friendly Forum, Alex and thanks for the interesting intro - not too long at all and always good to get a 'picture' of a new member. I'm sure you'll get all the help you need and, no doubt, help us too.
