Hi everyone,
Glad to have found what looks like a very comprehensive and friendly online Jag forum!
I bought a 1996 Jaguar XJR-6 about a month ago, and am enjoying it thouroughly - from the sleek timeless styling (I still can't help giving it one last glance whenever I park it and start walking away), effortless performance and beautifully designed interior.
I've been looking to buy a Jaguar for 14 years now (ever since I was 14 and sat in a Series III V12), and have toyed with the idea of MkX/420G's, Series I/II/III V12's and XJ40's before deciding on getting what I REALLY wanted - helped along by my wife who sold her Toyota to help me buy it and a Range Rover that was written off by a hailstorm the week before purchase!
