Default new member chevy conversion

Great forum! I am new owner of a 77 xjs with the chevy 350 conversion. I am currently deciding whether to restore this car or find another not so rough. The whole interior will need replaced along with the floor plans. Other than that, the car is solid. Look forward to sharing thoughts!

Welcome to the forum Blaise,

Follow Norri's link to the XJS section for help, advice and information. The knowledgeable members there have had their vehicles down to the last nut and bolt and back together again so you'll be in good hands.

Hi all, I'm a new member, I've just converted both of my Jaguars, 83 XJ6 and 86 XJS to Chev 350 engine and am quite pleased. As a retired marine engineer, I like to keep busy putting Chevy engines in my cars, these are the 1st Jags, I have a hard time entering & exiting the XJS, thought I would see what is is worth, and list it. New paint, sliding sunroof, 350/700r4, no issues. Seeing if there is any interest in a conversion done correctly, Jaguar Speciaties mount kit.

Welcome to the forum Blaise.

Apparently floor pans are not too difficult, but you would do the job because you want too, rather than thinking investment.

Good to see you.
