Hi all!

My name is Bill I recently bought a used 1997 Jaguar XK8 off of Ebay... I can hear the Vets laughing already... Well as you can guess my excitement and anticipation of owning my first Jaguar has not gone as I had hoped... Seller didn't properly disclose a slew off issues such as needed battery, needed alternator, needed ECM rebuilt and now that I finally got it running after 7 min coolant leaking out of the rear passenger side of motor which now may be a dreaded head gasket issue... Well hello I wish I was happier!!!

Hopefully things will get better, I hope it's not the gasket.

The '.........first Jaguar in the fleet' sounds like the issues haven't put you off the marque. Certainly hope the coolant leak is a hose and not a gasket issue.
