Hi, I am excited to join in the group and share experiences both good and bad. I an a past me mber of Club Lexus and found the tips and info saved me literally thousands of dollars (eg the front lower control arm for a Supra is $300, for a Lexus $1200. It's THE SAME PART, different p/n, and you only leard these things from knowledgeable members, not your dealer or mechanic. So I hope to post intelligently and will be mindful to my superiors.

All the best yo you and i hope to contribute as much good info as I take away. I've had my 2000 XK* for less than a month. The antennae mast has broken, the headlights are full of water and the engine sensor has put my car into fail safe mode 3 times. God thing I'm handy. But it's summer and it's a good wat to get to know your car.

Next proijects for me include dropping in a superb 5 x 100W Kenwood sound system, pop some 18-19 inch chrome wheels on. I'll be askig about springs naturally. did a 1-1.5" drop on the SC400 but it was far too firm, I want it all , looks, handling and comfort. Oh, and a set of DD headlights!

Welcome Owen, from a close neighbour. There is plenty of great info on the forum, plus a lot of the little things I've fixed on my XJ applies to your XK.

Check out the Canadian forum, the link is in my signature. It's a pretty quiet area around here, forum wise, not many members, but more active across the line.
