Thanks for the forum. It has alread be a great help in research.
I just picked up a 1985 XJ6 that has been one owner, garaged kept and professionally maintained car. It is in good shape for 60,000 miles. This will be a week end car, but it is so fun to drive that it may get some daily use for the next couple of months.
I have this thing for British vehicles and cut my teeth on Triumphs, BSAs, MGBs and Seagulls.
best to all

Howdy Jamey, We've been having some of your winter weather down here!
All, I've posted a pic in the gallery. Will post more as I get time (and wash the car!)

It is amazing how fast the weather changes. 64 degrees and an open sunroof most of the day. The AC actually came on after I parked in the sun for a bit. I took today off and wished I was close to that winding road around Holiday Park on the lake southwest of Fort Worth.
64 degrees.... open sunroof.... AC actually on..... Argh! Now where did my mukluks go.... I'm going out to look at my Jag in the snow...
