Default new member and I need help!

new replacement altenator caused big problems for my 97 xk8. It blew the main fuses ,the starter ,and the computer, I got the new starter and altenator and this time they are correct but I need a replacement computer. Who and where can I get one?

Porcelli....Porcelli.....John, you didn't fly SH-60's out of Mayport, FL for the US Navy in the mid-80's, did you? (I'm thinking it was "Art" but wouldn't swear it wasn't "John")

Do you mean the Engine control module? Not absolutely sure, though one of our great techs will no doubt be along to set it straight...but I think once you do find a replacement you have to "introduce" it to the rest of the car and it's modules via WDS/IDS or similar.

go to the "new member" area, click the "Forum Tools" in upper right, "Post a new thread" when it expands the drop-down, and then introduce yourself and what you are needing help with and you'll be well on your way!
