Since well before we were married my wife has pointed at a minimum of one car a month and said, "Ooooh, I like that car."
To the which I have had to answer almost everytime, "I know you do, Baby...it's a Jaguar."
Lately she started saying, "That's a nice Jaguar...it's a Jaguar, right?

So I started looking for a 70's Series 2 for her that was in good enough condition to look Sexy but in need of enough wrenching to make me feel like a part of the family. Easier said than done.

We settled for a '00 S-Type that retains some of that "Sexy Sixties Styling" but is new enough that it is just an old car rather than an antique...and was priced accordingly.

So that's what we got; A super clean 4.0L Fun Machine in Black / Chrome. The Wife LOVES it and in July I will be pulling the front wheels in search of a rotation based squeak... Yeah, I'm a Gearhead Nerd, for sure.
