I had a problem and i really wanted to see some pictures that another member had posted, and i thought i had to submit a few posts in order to be able to see them? Or have i misunderstood?

 

No you didn't misunderstand, but pointless posts are referred to as post whoring and will be deleted.
Why not take a look in the off topic section? There are many non technical threads there where I'm sure you could find ways to increase your post count.
