I signed up once before but never completed the required ten posts, will try to get it done this time.
I have owned an 89 xj6, 94 xj6, 98 xk8, and still have a 98 xj8, and a 85 xjs. I could not keep my cars on the road without the help of this Forum. I just fixed a very annoying/confusing issue of the dreaded "failsafe engine mode" warning light coming on intermittently with a simple spray of WD40 on the brake switch (and thanked the contributor). I could have spent lots of money and time trying to figure this one out on my own without this help.
I have fixed a number of things on my own and will try to share those in the future as I see what a great help this forum is to all my fellow Jag addicts/devotees.

You must be keeping a low profile, I've been working in Anderson for the last 18 months and haven't seen too many Jags.
I did glimpse an XK8 a couple of times, I think it was a brown colour, not you was it?

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

 

I updated my signature as suggested.
My XK8 was blue and I knew of only 2 others in Anderson when I had mine.
