New member in Minnesota
Hi
Its pleasure to be in this group. I believe it to be the best technically informed on Jaguars.
My Jaguar history goes back to ’84 when I purchased a new XJ6 that was one of the best road cars I have owned. Last January I was in Scottsdale for the auctions and rain storms with the intent of buying a car I had spotted in the catalogs. That car was not what I had hoped for but I did spot, one evening, a well cared for sapphire blue 2000 XK8 convertible that I bid on.
Now it is in a heated “condo for cars” for the winter thanks to a club member.
Fortunately I have read Nigel Thorley’s book on the XK8 so I am aware of the issues associated with this model.
However, I have some problems to work on and, therefore, welcome comments on them. In a similar manner I can share the relatively limited experience I have.
Thanks to all
Tom
