Hi there! I lovelovelove Jaguars and need to learn more about fixing things myself as (ahem) issues seem to come up fairly frequently... but that's all part of the fun! I have a white 1989 XJS (Lily) and a gold 1982 XJS (Archie)....thanks in advance for the help!

Ha! So true...but although I love all Jaguars the XJS is my very very favorite so I persevere (through lace-like bodywork, falling headliners, no a/c, faulty window switches, burnt up windshield wiper motor)....well, you know the song!

I think it was foresight on the designers part. These jags get lighter with age in order to keep up with modern vehicles.
