OBD codes would probably help the guys find something. It sounds like a general fault in the electrical system, is there water in the instrument binnacle, or is a main connector obviously (visibly) corrupted?

Does the car turn over and nor fire, or is there (seemingly) no connection between the key and the engine?

Welcome to the Forum,

It does sound like a classic battery problem, I suppose you checked for water in the boot while changing the battery.
Head on over and ask in the S section for better results.
