I've just acquired a non running but apparently complete 1978 Jaguar XJ-S. Will be trying to get everything back in road worthy condition as funds permit.

Welcome to the forum,

Looks like a challenge, but there are a few members who can help along the way.

I'm also a Lola fan, but I prefer this one -

Welcome aboard.

Yeah, you've got your work cut out for you but an XJS is worth the effort :-)

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

I hope that you can see this one through. Going to be tough.

Norri already has my taste in music pegged, however, in 1980 I was at Brands Hatch, and still remember the sound of the 'Lolas' changing up for the pit straight and then......

They are gorgeous, and one of the reasons for the name. I've seen a few in vintage races, and compared to my 3/4 ton truck, or even '65 mustang, a XJ-S feels as low and small as the Lola MK1 looks.
