New Member from New Zealand
Hello.
I found this forum whilst looking for a solution for a 'Low Coolant Level' warning light on my 2000 XKR when I knew there was no such thing going on. So impressed was I by the forum's leading me a to a (costless) solution to the problem that I documented my steps in my first post. I felt this was adding a little to the knowledge base as I managed a fix after I reached a point where the next step was widely thought to be buying a new component.
I live in New Zealand with two Jaguars. The aforementioned 2000 XKR which I could not bring myself to trade in when I bought a 2010 XF 3.0 Diesel Sport eighteen months ago.
Thus two very different vehicles which obviously drive in totally different ways. But I get great enjoyment from both and would not part with either of them.
My affection for Jaguars started as a boy in the 1950's when I first saw an XK120 and if I saw a decent one for sale here in New Zealand I'm sure the Minister of Home Affairs wouldn't have any objection to my having three Jaguars. No, I'm sure she wouldn't.

Welcome! The amount of knowledge and willingness to share on the site is outstanding. Great bunch of people.
Are you on North or South Island? I was based in Christchurch for several months back in the 80s and have nothing but wonderful memories.
