Hi Everyone,

I recently got a used 2000 XJ8 and am liking it very much. Thanks for all the helpful posts. I've already used the motorola bluetooth and remote programming instructions.

My newest issue is getting the Motorola T605 to mute the stereo when a call comes in. The installer couldn't get that function to work and Motorola's tech support is not responsive.

Cheers

Also wanted to say that I am very impressed with the quality and the value of this car. The used car market is strange for certain makes and models. In my case, a mercedes e320 with +100k miles would have cost more than my xj8 with 41k miles. I think this car is a sleeper.

Welcome, I am glad you are liking your ride
For technical questions you can use XJ Forums
E Class is not equivalent to your XJ either. S Class should be but XJ is winner in regards to maintenance and design
Thanks
