Hi everyone,

My name is Jim and I just picked up a 96 XJ6. She is black/black with about 107K miles. I can't say she was really taken care of very well due to the condition of the paint and how dirty she is in and out, but I got her pretty cheap and I am very handy with cars. I have about 25 years experience working on cars. Mostly Mercedes and BMWs in recent years. This is my first Jaguar. So far I like the ride and power, I just need to get the bugs worked out of her. This car is for my wife to replace her 1990 300e. I only hope that this car is as enjoyable and reliable as the Mercedes is.

Sounds like a nice car and my favorite color, and you'll do fine with "her" once you learn the idiosyncrasies of Jaguar, and...it didn't get past me that you've used the personal pronouns "She" and "Her" SIX TIMES!!!...although I believe one of those times you might have been talking about your wife. Two women...Hmmm...something just very special about that...you lucky man!
