Hi from Portland, OR. Just found this forum and excited to know there are other Jag owners sharing information and experiences.

My Jag is an XK-8 model, 2001 year. Less than 40K on the clock to date. Its a convertible and the wife and I love it. Starting to have some weird computers issues so I thought I would look for some advice other than the dealer.

Hope to learn a lot and constibute some of my experience.

Welcome aboard from North of you... As to your strange issues, post your symptoms in the XK8/XKR forum and you will probably get your answer quickly. Generally, wierd issues, can be traced to something as simple as replacing your battery. Spurious messages can be reported if your voltage drops to levels that other cars still tolerate as normal.
