Hi, just started working on my '88 XJSC again. It's been in storage for the last 7 years. Good to see her on the road again.

Just replaced the Ski-Slope wood pannel - went smoothly with all the recommendations in other posts. Then I started replacing the Oil Pressure idiot light sending unit. Got the old one out & now have lost the new one on top of the bell housing. Maybe I'll have better luck finding it tomorrow!

Welcome to the forum JT-1998-XJSC,

Sounds like there's not too much to do to get the XJS back on the road after the seven year layup.

Good luck finding the sender.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Found the sending unit & got it installed. Used some fishing line to hold it in a rubber hose to get it started. I always wondered what the hole in the connector was for : )
