Default New member saying Hi! K&N induction kit?

Two things to say, first off, Hi to everyone on here. New member obviously, bought my first Jag last month. It's a 2002 X-type 2L V6 in black, one woman owner, and 60,000 miles. Needs a polish but I think I'll just pay someone to do it for me, I can't be ar*ed! Lol. I've done a few mods but not finished yet!

Second thing, I know K&N are'nt planning on making an induction kit for the X-type but, Seeing as the X-type is built on a 2002 Mondeo Mk3 would it be possible to fit the mondeo induction kit (with MAF)to the X-type. I've looked at the fitment and it looks very similar but can anyone out there tell me if the MAF is the same on both the mondeo Mk3 and the X-type.
***I've added a pic of the induction kit below if that helps.***
Cheers, L17LED.

Welcome...I think you should stay with theram air intake that is stock on the X.., drop in a K&N filter and remove the filter box's internal baffles and that will give you all the intake gain you can hope, for less than a Supercharger..
