I live in Johannesburg with my 4 cats: 1975 XJ6 Series 2, 1977 XJ6 Series 2, 1996 XJ40 and 1971 E-Type Series 3 FHC. My wife has a 1967 Triumph Spitfire Mk2 to keep her happy!
Syd,
Holy cats, that's a lot of cats! The 1996 is perhaps an X300? I though the XJ40s went out in 1994, but it could be different in SA. You are most certainly going to be a great addition to these hallowed forum halls. thanks for joining and happy motoring!

Apologies - my XJ40 is a 1994 model not 1996. It is an interesting car in that it started life as an official British Embassy car based in Cape Town - we still have the Union Jack pendant - very special!

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
