New member South Lanarkshire, Scotland
Just found this forum and look forward to some, no doubt, interesting reading.
Got the X type in August last year and with the exception of an erratic idle - sorted by reprogramming the injectors - the car has been utterly reliable and a joy to drive. The 6-speed auto is excellent.
The only negative is the fuel consumption, which bobs between 32 and 35 mpg, irrespective of driving conditions (mainly A roads and around town - I don't use motorway very often).
Anyway, I didn't buy a Jaguar for economy, rather I just love how it looks - previous cars included Mercs and Audi's they don't stir the senses like Jaguar - and drives. I wish I had switched from the aforementioned ages ago. But better late than never.
