Hi all,
I've been an S-Type owner for 4 months now and am over the moon with it Although I have developed an OCD cleaning habit
I'm 50ish, married with grown up kids, but have an internal age of about 25.
I hope to become a regular contributer, and am likely to ask loads of numpty questions, so please be kind to this old codger

Welcome to the forum sponge (now is that for knowledge, or do you live on the flood plain?)

We are OK with 'numpty' questions don't worry about that. You will find this to be one of the friendliest forums on the Net.

Great help in the S Type section and the guys should be able to help you save a small fortune, or at least, spend one wisely.

Thank you for the welcome, I have read the guidelines and now understand why I can not access the photos of an ICE installation I was interested in
I hope this site is as friendly as you say, I am a member of another forum, their attitude is "if it's not jaguar then don't fit it" Where as I like to improve on the perfection, but remain classy.
I hope to be active from "this side of the pond" and would be interested to hear from other UK members.
Am I boring you yet

Hi sponge, glad to see I'm not the only senior citizen who recently got an S-type. I'm also 50ish (actually closer to 60), married, and with kids heading off to college. But I think age is an advantage as having had "ordinary" cars all these years makes me appreciate driving my Jag even more.

Hi 1strider, I know exactly what you mean, I too have had my fair share of "old bangers" now I have the "S" I finally have a pride in my ride that I never really had before, although I always looked after them, the "S" takes it to an OCD level.
My mate says all I need is a cap, pipe and driving gloves, and I'll be proper old Jag driver

Default Hi Sponge

Well, I'm an even older codger on the other side of sixty. And as luck would have it on the other side of the "Pond" too, and I don't know what "numpty" means. Can you enlighten a fellow codger. Welcome Sponge.
