Just a quick message to say "hello" as a new member. I've just bought my first Jaguar, a 2004 XJ8 3.6 Sport (xj350) with only 74,000 miles on it- fantastic car to drive though having some issues already (new air spring & suspension compressor fitted by dealer, ABS light comes on sometimes - back to dealer to fix whilst still under warranty). Previous car was Mercedes 600SEL which I ran for some 16 years and was an absolute money pit - probably the most unreliable car in the world. The Jaguar drives better, is more comfortable with a far better interior, is more economical i.e. 29mpg against 14mpg, and IMO built just as well as the old Mercedes. Looking forward to many happy years (hopefully) as a Jag owner.
