Hi folks.

I'm a new Jaguar owner just outside Halifax, Canada. Just recently picked up an XJS as a Project, and I'm quickly getting in way over my head

I'm a student of NSCC Akerley, and I'm taking an auto service and repair course there. As I understand it, once I work out how to fix everything up, it should make other vehicles look easy

I'm in for the challenge.

Yeah, an XJS is initiation by fire, especially the V12 models. But, when you're done sorting out the problems the satisfaction is that much sweeter for having tamed the savage beast :-)

Welcome aboard and give a shout if you need help.

Cheers

Thanks for the welcome

I definitely need help, as I'm noticing more and more things wrong with it, on top of what I was already aware of.

No cruise control bellows, kickdown switch isn't hooked up, need a new master cylinder, possibly a new starter...

I'll post in the appropriate forum when I have a bit more time to diagnose the vehicle.
