New from MI
Hey guys, just bought my first Jag. It's a 2004 X-type 3.0 and so far am pretty pleased with it. From Michigan and just wanted to stop in and say hi. It has a few cosmetic issues i will be addressing over the next couple of months and have also noticed the cigarette lighter does not work, fuse is not blown. Should i check to see if there is power to the connector:
Welcome to the forum.
My suggestion would be to ask your question in the X Type area, that way others that have maybe experienced the same problem can quickly steer you to a solution. Not everyone comes in here and reads the intros, sad but fact.
I am NOT X Type savvy, but checking the voltage at the socket would be my first suggestion.
Enjoy

Welcome to the forum bbancvsov,
Follow Norri's link to the X-Type sction for help, advice and information.
The cigarette lighter socket feed is a 'lazy' way of powering aftermarket accessories and may have been disconnected for this purpose by the PO. Guys on the X-Type section will have the answers on the circuit.
Enjoy the forum.
