Default New old Jaguar

Just wanted to say hello. I just picked up what I think is an interesting car. It is a 98 VDP, Topaz Metallic, Premium Stereo. I think the stereo is the only option based on the window sticker. The interesting part is that the car only had 3,400 miles on it. Now there is approximately 4,400.

All documented, dealer records, etc.

The quick story is that an older couple had the car. She had to stop driving due to health issues. So the car had regular drives "into town" to get the mail a few times a month.

The car is not flawless, but it is very close. So far, so good.

Looking forward to reading and learning the Jaguar way.

Thanks for the welcome! Yes...I'm a pastor...and a car nut...and I guess I like motorcycles, too.

I do feel like the car is just getting broken in. I'm planning on doing some fluid changes and hopefully I'll get some miles on it. It is not going to be a garage queen! My wife is the only queen in the household.
